She was predeceased by: her son Troy Scott; and her father Curtis Romero. She is survived by: her daughter Daina Scott Romero (Cambre Romero) of Broussard; her mother Lorraine Romero; her siblings, Curt Romero, II of New Iberia and Lana Romero of New Iberia; and her grandchildren, Oliver Romero and Isla Romero. She is also survived by her mother, brother, sister, daughter, son-in-law, her two grandchildren and countless family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Frioux-David Funeral Home Chapel (1101 Trotter St, New Iberia, LA 70563). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Holy Family Cemetery (2807 N Curtis Ln, New Iberia, LA 70560).
