Donald Rogers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 89, Donald Rogers of New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Rogers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Joseph and Agnes Harrington Rogers; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Rogers, George Rogers, Gloria Dean Rogers Robichaux (John Lee Robichaux) and Betty Rogers Dartez (Herbert "Boo" Dartez); his in-laws, Landis, Vernette Armentor Segura, Larry and Juanita Fitch; his son-in-law James "Jim" Semar; and his brother-in-law Paul Richard Segura.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Fitch Rogers; his son Kevin Rogers; his daughter-in-law Shannon Viator Rogers; his daughters, Donna Rogers Semar and Crystal Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Gwen Landry Rogers, Bret, Elaine Segura Barras of Loreauville, Vaughn and Doris Fitch Johnson of Tehachapi, CA.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1303 St Jude Ave, New Iberia, LA 70560).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Building Fund.
