Don Harris Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don Harris of New Iberia, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Harris to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Paul Harris; and also Shirley Leleux Harris. He is survived by: his wife Julie Melancon Harris of Napoleonville, Louisiana.; his children, Paul Harris (Shelley), Liz Harris Tremblay (Claude) and Emily Harris Mestayer (Jed); his grandchildren, Josh, Grant, Reid Harris, Claude, Gabrielle, Jacques Tremblay, Madison, Matthew, Michael and Juliet Mestayer; his great grandchild Leighton Harris; and also Roux.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (200 W Main St, Broussard, LA 70518).
