With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Marie Hill of New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Harry Hill and Lucy Moore Hill; her siblings, Dawn E. Hill, Darlene Marks (Larry) and Harry Hill, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Michael Thomas, Remington Hill, Dane'Qua Hill and Jasmine Hill; her great-nephews, DeMarcus Hill, Mason Thomas and Kaden Walker; her aunts and uncles, Gladys Pecantte, Cecile Smith, Georgiana Taylor, Charlene Moore, Rena Mae Hill, Betty Tillman, Willie Mae Johnson, Regina Campbell, Edward Moore (Paulette), Mckinely Moore (Nancy), Joseph Moore and Alfred Joseph Hill, Jr. (Carol); her grandparents, Ida, Ozema Moore, Patsy Harding, Alfred Hills, Sr. and Eva Mae Hill; her aunts and uncles, Ozema Moore, Jr., Wesley Moore, Sr., Michael Moore, Richard Pecantte, Leroy Smith, James Paul Taylor, Huck Tillman, Rita Holmes and Ruthann Blunt; her cousin Warren Christopher Holmes; and her close friend Carol Augustus. She was also cherished by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc. (1011 N St Antoine St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery (11200 Old Jeanerette Rd, Jeanerette, LA 70544).
