She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry Narcissie and Gustavia Benoit Harrison (Abraham Harrison); her grandparents, Batiste Benoit, Serena Wilson Benoit, Junius Palmer and Evelyn Narcissie; and her godmother Delores Benoit Hypolite.
She is survived by: her children, Taekwon Williams of New Iberia, LA, Aquinas Johnson, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Xavier Boutte of New Iberia, LA and Nicholas Boutte of New Iberia, LA; her siblings, Demer Benoit of New Iberia, LA, Margaret Manuel of New Iberia, LA, Bridget Francis of New Iberia, LA, Jennie B. Phillips (Deon) of Dallas, TX and Ruth Polk of New Iberia, LA; her grandchildren, Autumn Armstead, Ryann Williams and Reign Williams; her godchildren, Mercedes Doucette, Antwine Walter, Tatiyana Worgu and Morgan Benoit; and her close friends, Shawnetta Jackson and Joey Batiste. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia (609 W Admiral Doyle Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church (175 Ambassador W Lemell Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560, USA).
