She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Derouen and Lela Romero Derouen Benoit; and her godchildren, Leslie Dore Emonet and Ernest "Bubba" Bonin. She is survived by: her husband Ray Rodrigue; her children, Jamie "Frog" Rodrigue (Tracy), Marty Rodrigue and Tracy R. Boudreaux; and her grandchildren, Katherine Boudreaux, Kayla Boudreaux and Travis Rodrigue.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (1006 St Elizabeth St, St Martinville, LA 70582).
