She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Albert Gauthier; her parents, James Carol and Mary Joyce Gauthier Hebert; and her son-in-law Richard Comeaux. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Pitre (Bryan), Tammy Comeaux and Holly Sevin (Anthony J.); her grandchildren, Adam Pitre (Grace), Tyler Comeaux (Abby), Brittany Guillotte (Devin), Cole Sevin (Brittany), Halie LeBlanc (Tony), Abbie Chapman (Blake), Jordan Sevin and Joshua Sevin; and her great grandchildren, Kason, Baylen, Ethan, River, Revin, Benny, Kaylen, Ruby, Charlie, Brayden and Bella Rose.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the David Funeral Home (1101 Trotter St, New Iberia, LA 70563). A rosary was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery (2409 Coteau Rd, New Iberia, LA 70560).
