It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Dubois (New Iberia, Louisiana), who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Helen Abney LaBauve. She is survived by: her husband Walter J. DuBois, Sr.; her son Walter J. DuBois, Jr.; her wife Debra DuBois of Alexandria; her brother David Abney, Jr. of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Jonathan DuBois (Dominique) of Spring, TX, Brandon DuBois (Erin) of Houston, TX, Katie DuBois of Lafayette and Alex DuBois (Katie) of Broussard; her great grandchildren, Evangeline DuBois, Scarlett DuBois, Eliza DuBois, Everleigh DuBois and Nathaniel DuBois; and also Jeff DuBois (Cynthia) of Broussard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
