She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Saul and Eunice Segura Theriot; her husband Robert Burke Voorhies, Sr.; her children, Rene Francis Voorhies, Barbara Ann Voorhies Ables and Catherine Voorhies Moore; and her sister Yvonne Leleux.
She is survived by: her son Robert Burke Voorhies, Jr. (Rosana Voorhies); her grandchildren, Eric Garza, Nick Garza, Marc Garza, Maya Avalos, Chris Aucoin, Nick Ables, Leasa Renee Shotton (Jarod) and Nicole Marie Broussard (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Alaia Garza, Tyler Patrick Nance, Renee Nicole Garner (William), Rylan Rhys Shotton, Ethan Jarod Shotton, Kristen Alexis Shotton and Reagan Riley Nance; and her great great grandchildren, Ava Perez, Arlo Perez and Violet Elyse Nance.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - New Iberia (502 Jefferson Terrace, New Iberia, LA 70560). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (402 W Admiral Doyle Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560).
