With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Greer Thomas of New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hunter Greer, Jr. and Verta Needham Greer; her husband Donald Thomas; her daughter Linda Kay Thomas O'Brien; her sons-in-law, Brian O'Brien and Hardie Holcomb, Jr.; her brothers, Charles Greer (Ruth) and Jim Greer (Vern); and her brother-in-law Larry Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Thomas of New Iberia, Kenneth Thomas of Houston, TX, Sarah Holcomb of New Iberia, Carroll Thomas of New Iberia, Sandy Williams (Charlie) of Katy, TX and Donna Dingler (Steve) of Jacksonville, AR; her siblings-in-law, Garry Thomas (Betty) of Weatherford, TX and Daine Thomas of Alvin, TX; and her caregivers, Becky Etienne, Donna Watterson, Jana Trahan and Betty Druilhet. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
