She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Young; her parents, Theogian Fontenot and Louisa Pousson Fontenot; her siblings, Anna Manuel, John Fontenot, Odis Fontenot, Marie Breaux and Wilmer Fontenot; and her sons-in-law, Jerry Trahan and Jerry Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia "Cindy" Trahan of New Iberia, Myra "Lynn" Miller of Lake Charles, David Young (Sonnia) of Erath and Kenny Young of New Iberia; and her grandchildren, Jay Trahan, Devon Trahan, Nicholas Trahan, Lyndsay Trahan, Lance Miller, Laura Hebert, Tara Lipari, Caleb Young, Hannah Young, Krysta Myers and Kyler Young. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild with 1 more great great grandchild.
