With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Ebel (New Iberia, Louisiana), born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Safford and Hilda Levert Safford; her husband James "Jim" Ebel; her son-in-law Chris Skidmore; and her siblings, Jim Safford and Margaret Safford.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Ebel (Jenifer), Karl Ebel (Kelli), Eric Ebel, Alex Ebel (Cherie), Helen Claire Ebel Skidmore and Stacey Ebel; and her sister Mary Lou Begnaud. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Mount Carmel, P.O. Box 1160, Lacombe, LA 70445.
