She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crawford Jackson, Sr. and Nellar Mae Wilson Jackson; her husband Charles Grady Simmons, Sr.; her daughters, Patricia Grammer and Gail Pittman; her sister Sandra Armetta; and her stepfather Billy Leach.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly McCormick (Brad) of Chelsea, AL and Charles Simmons, Jr. (Patti) of Desloge, MO; her brother John Crawford Jackson, Jr. (Kayte) of Ripon, California; her grandchildren, Brooke Simmons, Julia Richardson, Dustin Grammer, Lacy Carraway, Kary Katharine McDonald, Grady Casey, Jessica Gibson and Vanessa Short; and her great grandchild Brynleigh Richardson.
