He is survived by: his wife Nelda Hicks; his children, Brian Hicks (Amy) of Orange, VA, Troy Hicks (Mary) of Dry Prong, LA, Dwayne Hicks (Rhonda) of Lakeland, FL, Shane Clary of Baton Rouge, LA, David Clary (Katherine) of Natchitoches, LA and Sherrie Lebron of Ball, LA; and his grandchildren, TJ Hicks (Brandie), Marcie Aguilar (Mark), Cody Hicks, Mason Briggs (Kimberly), Chloe Jordan (Will), Major Briggs (Katherine), Devin Hicks, Stephanie Clary, Brianna Clary, Kane Vergara and Stevie Goodman. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great, great-grand child, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
