It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosella Wells of Natchitoches, Louisiana, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas R. Mason and Marie Stetzembach Mason of Jefferson City, MO; and her siblings, Virginia DeGroat of Wausaukee, WI, Marjorie Scheperle of Jefferson City, MO, Delores Renick of Jefferson City, MO, Thomas Mason of St. Louis, MO and Henry V. Mason of Hampton, VA..
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Wells of Natchitoches, LA; her children, Thomas L. Wells (Jody) of Kansas City, MO and Sandi Teal (Todd) of Atlanta, LA.; her grandchildren, Brittany of Kansas City, MO, Shane Eberspacher of Kansas City, MO, Jordan of Kansas City, MO, Gena Wells of Kansas City, MO, Jackson and Edward Teal of Atlanta, LA; her great grandchild Leo Joseph Wells of Kansas City; her niece Susie; her nephew Larry Hannah of Overland Park, KS.; and her sister-in-law Becky Mason of Hampton, VA..
She continued to volunteer until 2020 when visitation stopped due to Covid and unfortunately her health started to decline.
In lieu of flowers it was her wish that donations be made to the Humane Society of Winnfield or the Winnfield Animal Shelter.
