It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark Steven Machen of Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James R. Machen; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Hope Herring. He is survived by: his mother Claudia Connor Machen; the mother of his children Margie Machen; his daughters, Meredith Morris (Tyler), Megan Herring (Jared) and Sarah Wells (Louden); his grandchildren, Kyleigh, Brayton, Gavin, Owen, Paden, Lachlen, Emery and Lily; his brothers, Mike Machen (Jennifer) and Matt Machen (Michelle); and his friends, Eddie and Jennifer Quitta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family kindly requests memorial donations to be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
