He was predeceased by: his parents, McNeal Metoyer and Louise Metoyer (Conant); his sons, Jarriet Wayne Metoyer and Edward Darnell Metoyer; and his siblings, Hazel Beaudoin, Mattie Metoyer and Anthony Metoyer.

He is survived by: his children, Wanda Coutee (Harry) of North Hollywood, CA, Louis Rachal (Shelly) of Marshall, TX, Keith Rachal (Elaine) and Teri Garcia (Cesar) of Burbank, CA. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
