We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2023, at the age of 86, Laverne McElwee of Natchitoches, Louisiana, born in Oak Grove, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everage and Ola West Everage; her husband Bobby McElwee; her siblings, Reed and Hazel; and her grandson Matthew.

She is survived by: her stepmother Cozie; and her sibling Shirley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or St. Jude's in Laverne's memory.
