He is survived by: his children, Michael Hernandez (Bonnie), Kenneth Earl Hernandez and Brenda McCain (Sam); his grandchildren, Christopher Hernandez (Heather), Logan McCain (Chelsea), Eric Hernandez (Gabriela), Kaitlyn McCain (Corey Ezernack), Jessica Butler (Robbie) and Melissa Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Kody Ramirez, Isabella McClure, Jordyn Hernandez, Jakob Hernandez, Mason Hernandez, Jase McCain, Josie McCain, Harlen McCain, Lane and Delilah Ezernack; and his friend Billie Hicks.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (145 Church St, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
