She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Elmer Rhodes and Clara "" Byrd Rhodes of Virginia; her husband Laddie Gay Howell; and her daughter-in-law Susan Davis Howell. She is survived by: her children, Greg Howell (Paula) of Natchitoches, Gary Howell (Susan Clark) of Natchitoches and Lisa Howell Methvin (Karlton) of Natchitoches; her grandchildren, Tricia Nelson (Cody), Joshua Howell (Nikki), Aimee Fitzhugh (Matt), Amber Howell, Alicia Angelle (Caleb), Brett Mayeaux (Rachel), John William Methvin (Ashleigh), Maggie Methvin and Makenzie Methvin; her great grandchildren, Matson, Adrian Nelson, Hoyt, Wyatt Howell, Zander, Zoie Coleman, Matalyn Kate Fitzhugh, Jaxon, Greyson, Sutton Angelle, Kate, Anna, Ryan Mayeaux and Violet Ann Methvin; and her siblings, Wayne Rhodes of Waco, Ronnie Rhodes (Sharon), Cheryl Palmer and Kim McLearen (Curtis) of Gatesville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, although she loved flowers, she requested that a donation be made to Toledo Bend Baptist Resort Ministries or a charity near and dear to you.
