She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. Van Hook and Elsie Gilcrease; and her husband John David Smith. She is survived by: her brother Walter Van Hook; her children, Donna Gail Montgomery and Kenneth D. Hammett (Theresa); her grandchildren, Kenneth B Tripp (Crystal), Gage, Bradley, Vanessa (Samual), Jackson and Connor; her daughter Karen (Pat); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan and Elyssa. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
