Jerry T. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry T. Smith of Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leda Gorum Smith and Samuel Esley Smith; and his brother Perry Hardy Smith (Charlotte). He is survived by: his wife Sherrye Smith; his sons, Trevor Smith (Kay) and Trenton Smith (Crissey); his goddaughter Shay Van (Reco); his grandchildren, Keiffer Smith (Jordyn), Karsen Armstrong (Kevin), Kennedy Smith, Charity Smith, Sadey Smith and Elijah Van; and his brothers, Benny Smith (Beth) and Sammy Smith (Mitzi). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, or a local Humane Society.
