She was predeceased by: her parent Bennie Wesley; her husband Paul Edmond Messenger of Boyce, Louisiana; her mother Lucille Lewis; and her brother Ronnie Lewis of Otwell, Arkansas.. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Messenger (Boc Capps), Karen Messenger, Casey Messenger (Shonda) and Clay Messenger (Ashlie); her siblings, Sue Simpson of Natchez, Miss., Stanley Lewis (Sherrie), Joyce Phillips (Raymond) and Judy Lewis of Otwell, Ark.; her sister-in-law Rita Nichols of Cloutierville; her grandchildren, Katie, Madison, Tyler, Nicholas, Samantha (Jay), Maci, Paul, Jake and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Jared, Casey Paul, Maddyee Kay, Raven, JeMiya and Ash. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Marthaville First Baptist, Riverdale Academy, or St. Jude.
