James Reed Stacy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Reed Stacy (Natchitoches, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Stacy and Eunie V Christian Stacy; and his sister-in-law Susan Thompson Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Stacy; his children, Julee Ann Wright (Brad), Donald Ray Stacy (Patti) and James Russell Stacy (Mary Edith); his grandchildren, James Wilson (Kimberly), Rebecca Mitchell (Bruce), Sara Edwards, Alexis Leonhardt (John), Madison Stacy-Mikawi (Osama), Daniel Stacy (Abby) and Kaylee Ann Stacy; his great grandchildren, Braylon Normand, Ridge Wilson, Bailee, Chandler, Avery, Lillian Mitchell, Camille Edwards, Willa, Wade Leonhardt, Oliver and Sophia Stacy; his brother Sam H. Stacy (Janice); and his brother-in-law Griffin Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and Disabled American Veterans.
