He is survived by: his mother Pattie Killen of Lecompte, LA; his siblings, Charles Matt (Toni) of Alexandria, LA, Eva Sevier of Baton Ruge, John Matt (Teresa) of Crosby, TX, Suzanne Williams (Mike) of Shreveport, LA, Mary Nelson of Houston, TX., Eric Matt of Houston, TX. and Margaret Matt of Houston, TX.; his children, Jacques Matt (Christyn) of Natchitoches, LA, Lance Lopez (Laurie) of Natchitoches, LA, Christopher Matt (Nicole) of Napoleonville, LA and Jana Smith (James) of Lawton, OK.; and his grandchildren, McCall, Jayce, Caleb Matt of Natchitoches, Cruz Lopez of Natchitoches, Owen and Bailee Matt of Napoleonville.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Jacques name.
