Grady Cook Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady Cook Sr. (Natchitoches, Louisiana), who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Houston Cook and Exie Westbrook Cook; his wife Tressie Scarborough Cook; his siblings, Van Houston Cook, Mildred Arceneaux, Reba Calhoun, Elouise Randall, Mary Ellen Hinze and Martha Gibbs; and his grandson Everett Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Lequita Johnson of Natchitoches, Cindy Morgan (Leslie) and Grady Cook Jr. (Rhonda) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Chris Goldman, Laura Trosen (Chris), Rachel Zobeck (Mark), Stewart Morgan (RoShunna), Grady Cook III (Britney) and Dylan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Lydia Zobeck, Lewis, Chase, Keziah Trosen, Rowan, Campbell, Landry, Esther Cook, Amara Lea-Morgan and Emersyn Brumfield Johnson; his brother Dr. Roy Cook; and also, Ruble Scarborough and Doretha Bond. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Grady's memory may make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
