With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Goodlatte Walmsley in Natchitoches, Louisiana, born in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Mentzendorff Goodlatte and Robert Swan Goodlatte; and her husband David Benjamin Walmsley. She is survived by: her children, William Goodlatte Walmsley and Susan Walmsley Hyams (Louis Collier Hyams); and her grandchildren, Gwyneth Walmsley Berry (Aaron Berry), Rowan Cassandra Walmsley, Juliet Claire Marie Hyams, Pierce McPhearson Hyams and Gillian Heather Walmsley.
