He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict P. LaCour Sr. and Stella Severin LaCour; his sister Angela Metoyer; and his former wife Mary-Margeret LaCaze. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Angela, Barry, Glenn and Paul; his son Marcus; his wife Jannie LaCour; his stepson Eric Long (Silby); his children, Stefon, Jeffery Long (Tshaka) and Tiombe (Marcus Sarpy); his siblings, John Severin Sr. (Elizabeth), Joseph "Sam" LaCour, Stella LaCour and Doris Balthazar (Pervis); his niece Sabrina Cajandig (Ivan); his great-nephew Gabriel; his nephew Johnnie Severin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica, Anastasia, Barry Severin (Rochelle), Russel, Jonathan, Ryan and Glenn Severin (Sharon); and also, Mary, Brianna, Angela, Nichole, Gina, Nina, Paul Severin (Laura), Nicholas, Joshua and Sarah.
