We bid farewell to Andrew Balthazar (Natchitoches, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Andrew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Balthazar and Cecilia Metoyer Balthazar; his son Myron Balthazar; and his siblings, Helen Rachal, James Balthazar and Cleo Balthazar.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Raggio Balthazar; his children, Velma McKinney, Jamie Renee Balthazar, Andrew Balthazar, Jr. (Kathy), Darryl Balthazar (Valerie) and Keith Balthazar (Lori); his grandchildren, Kendrick, Andrea (Marshall), Brandy (Antonio), Ashlyn (Antonio), Connor, Rob, Carson, Blayklee, Courtney (Corey), Chelsea (Ricardo), Kendrick Jr., Kenli, Nora, Maya, Arabella, Olivia, Jeremiah, Violet, Halle, Jacob and Landon; and his caregiver Melva Mitchell. He is also survived by his siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Chruch Cemetery (2262 LA-484, Natchez, LA 71456). An entombment was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery (2262 LA-484, Natchez, LA 71456).
