With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Eugene Shockley in Natchitoches, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Shockley and Ellen Simmons Shockley; and his cousin Wayne Shockley (Hazel). He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Feazell (Doug) and Angie Hickman (Ross); and his grandchildren, Trevor Durbin, Preslie Durbin, Mollie Durbin, Aaron Hickman and Carson Hickman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
Due to his wishes for cremation, donations in his name may be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of floral contributions.
