It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Matthew Sr. (Natchez, Louisiana), born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on March 28, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin George Matthew and Edna Merle Boyd Matthew; his wife Eugenia "Gene" Mardis Matthew; and his sister Karen Matthew Reed. He is survived by: his children, Roger Dale Matthew Jr. of Prairieville, LA and Sandy Matthew Fiser (Michael Adams) of St. Francisville, LA; his grandchildren, Emma Gene Fiser of Prairieville, LA, Laurel Lee Fiser of Prairieville, LA, Elaina Caroline Matthew of Prairieville, LA and Zachary Allen Matthew of Prairieville, LA; his sister Sherri Matthew Risher of Natchez; and his sister-in-law Allene Mardis Noble of Francisville, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
