He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Brewer and Olivia Brewer; his parents-in-law, Jack and Dixie Nichols; his sisters-in-law, Stella Nichols and Dorothy Nichols; his son Ronald Oscar Brewer Jr.; his brother David Brewer; his nephew Pryce Shane Overland; and his pet Rousey.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Nichols Brewer; his children, Tracie McCrory (Huey) and Chad Brewer; his grandsons, Kade and Kasen McCrory; his siblings, Roland Brewer (Karen) and Brenda Overland (Derek); his brother-in-law Cleveland Nichols; his brothers, Glenn, Ray, Frankie and Holland; and his pets, Lolli, Daisy and Dixie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
