He was predeceased by: his parents, James Converse and Velma J. Converse; his son Randy Converse; his grandson Keith B. Douglas, Jr.; and his sisters, Brenda Converse, Anna C. Harper, Gaynell Rodrigue and Josie D. Converse.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Converse Blackmon, Rhonda Converse Douglas (Keith), Alvarez Converse (Kamala Converse) and Kia Converse (Taneka Wiggins); and his siblings, Raymond Converse, Sr., Audrey C. Thomas, Rosemary Converse Bell, Shirley A. Converse, Gayle M. Converse and Jimmy P. Converse. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
