He is survived by: his wife Anna Blanchard Solar; his son Leonce J. Solar, Jr. (Michele); his grandchildren, Matthew Solar (Michelle), Paul Solar and Samantha Solar; his great grandchildren, Dean Solar and Billy Geisler; and his siblings, Frank Solar, Jr. (Gail), Lorraine Solar Delaune, Mary Ann Solar, Sarah Bonvillian Hebert and Lucy Bonvillian Chatagnier.
