He was predeceased by: his mother Mary; and his siblings, Tilford Blackmon, Ommie Stringer, Euerstine Blackmon and Virginia Faye Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Lille Blackmon; his children, Julius Blackmon, Jr. (Sherry) and Shelia Holmes (Stevenson); his brothers, Clifford and Phillip Blackmon (Voncile); and his grandchildren, Kara, Jaylen, Julaya, Julian and Sterling Robinson, III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
