He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Ward (Burd); his children, Mary Ward Johnson (Andrew) of Thibodaux, Rose Ward of Thibodaux, Charlene Ward of Baton Rouge, Joyce Ward of Austin, TX., Joseph Ward Jr. (Hope) of Thibodaux and Donald Ward (Latrice) of Lafayette; his sisters, Emily Jones of New Orleans and Dorothy Sims (Houston) of Napoleonville; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Martin of New Orleans, Rosa Lee Bongere of Compton and Joan Greene of New Orleans; and also Warren Ward Sr. of Napoleonville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
