It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mae Sims (Napoleonville, Louisiana), who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert "Jack" Sims, Sr. and Neola "Tut" Watts Sims; her siblings, Audrey Sims Reed, Wilbert Sims, Jr., Benjamin Sims, Ferman Sims, Joseph Sims, Sr. and Ura Sims, Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Ellen Ausbrooks Sims, Dorothy McMillien Sims, Felton Reed, Sr. and Melvin Arceneaux.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Sims, Sr. (Natasha), Charlene Sims-Jupiter and Bryan Sims (Rose); her sisters, Willie Mae Sims Arceneaux, Althea Sims, Jomary Hayes (Steve Sr.) and Gail Sims; and her sister-in-law Celestine Sims. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
