She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Smothers; her son Keith Smothers; her parents, Eliska Freeman and Chester Freeman; and her siblings, Calvin, Lloyd Freeman, Loris Jackson, Lucy Mae Stansberry-Watson and Helen Lemon.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Smothers and Calma Jean Smothers-Jack (Dorsey); and her siblings, Warren Freeman (Linda), Carolyn and Verley Freeman. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
