It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daryl Sonier of Napoleonville, Louisiana, born in Oberlin, Louisiana, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his son Darin Sonier; his parents, Emerson Sonier and Marian Sutherlin Sonier; and his brother Carl Sonier. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sonier; his daughter Darla Sonier Mirelez (Daniel Mark Mirelez); his grandchildren, Lyllian Ruth Mirelez, Emerson Lucas Mirelez and Petra Lucille Mirelez; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Sonier. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Napoleonville (4616 LA-308, Napoleonville, LA 70390). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
