She was predeceased by: her husband Gustave Rhodes, Jr.; and her brothers, Norwood, Robert, Charles, Gerald and Cornell Sheffie.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Gilbert Sheffie (Michelle), Ralph Sheffie (Robin), Rodney, David, Matthew Rhodes, Hester Sheffie, Wanda Hamilton (Bertrand) and Charlene Rhodes; and her brother Sterling Sheffie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
