She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Jones, Sr.; her parents, Hilda August, and Louis August, Sr.; her siblings, Louis August, Jr. and Peggy August Davis; her grandson Kewon Diggs, Sr.; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Gilton, Terry Joseph, Jr. and Destiny Pierre.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Jones, Jr. (Denise), Elaine Bell, Angela Jones and Angenetta Oliver (Patrick); her adoptive sons, Stevenson Holmes and Joel Toussaint; and her brothers, Eric August (Alice), Phillip August, Sr. (Roslyn), Rudy August, Sr. (Danette) and Randy August, Sr. (Joyce). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
