He is survived by: his children, Stephen Mallard of Moss Bluff, LA, Gail Smith of Ferriday, LA and Deborah Steele (Don) of DeRidder, LA; his siblings, Frank Mallard of Florida and Brenda Bailey (Shorty) of Bainbridge; and his grandchildren, Tamie McGowan, Jonathan Mallard, Rebekah Moore, Benjamin Steele, Aimee Marks and Christina Lirette.
