She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Blackwell and Leoda Blackwell; her brother Robert Blackwell; and her nephew Robert "Bo" Blackwell. She is survived by: her husband Julian R. Bruce of Moss Bluff; her nieces, Pam Dillard of Robeline, LA, Singletary Patton of Marthaville, LA and Ginger Patton of Lake Charles; and her sister-in-law Faye Courrage of Vinton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
