She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Helen Bondick and Jesse Lee Richard. She is survived by: her sister Roxanne Guillory; her godson Chad Cox; her brother-in-law Curtis Arville, Sr.; her husband Timothy Cassia; her children, Michael "Scotty" Richard, Mitchell "Keith" Richard (Ashlie), Deirdra Cassia (James Doty), Alura "Mindy" Cassia (Sam) and Lacy Louis (Marcus); and her siblings, Jaime Richard (CeCe), Jessica Benoit (David), Zelda Chesson, Rosalind Richard, Vanessa Richard and Jeanne Guidry (Gerald). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff (2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at the Prien Memorial Park (2220 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
