He is survived by: his spouse Betty Willis Thompson of Moss Bluff; his children, Chad Thompson of Leesville, Kristen Thompson of Leesville and Crystal Slaney of Oakdale; and his siblings, George McDaniel (Debbie) of Jasper, TX. and Janice Strother.
