It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leaster Champagne of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Lejeune and Evia Lejeune; her daughter Gail Wooten; and her siblings, Warren Lejeune and Olia Vincent.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Champagne; her children, Billie Wooten Lyons (Rickie) of Hagerstown, MD and Keith Wooten (Leann) of Alexandria, LA; and her siblings, Arnold Lejeune (Gail) of Moss Bluff, LA, Juanita Lynch of Moss Bluff, LA, Urah Greathouse of Lake Charles, LA, Velma Foux of Lafayette, LA, Marie Bennett of Merryville, LA, Marilyn Abshire (Oscar) of Gueydan, LA and Debra Arabie (Austin) of Deridder, LA. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren.
