It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Armistead Benoit of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Benoit Jr.; her parents, Thelma Armistead and Ora Armistead; and her brother Pat Armistead. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Farquhar (Kirt) of Moss Bluff; her grandsons, Jacob Farquhar of Wilmington, NC and Joshua Farquhar of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchild Catherine Farquhar of Wilmington, NC; her grandson Ethan Benoit (Jill) of Moss Bluff; and her close friend Donna Dailey of San Augustine, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
