He was predeceased by: his mother Mae LeDoux Cox. He is survived by: his father Charles Cooley; his stepparents, Linda and Billy Cox; his children, Erica Moreau and Brandon Drummond; his grandchildren, Juliana, Julian, Julia Sterling and Meena Drummond; and his siblings, Cindy Cox Thompson (David), Russel Cox and Rhonda Cox Laderer (Bill).

He also left a special friend Patty Runnels, and friend he helped with his time and donations, Cat Lady Dana Frye.
