He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Dawson and Joe Dawson; his parents-in-law, Hazel and Leroy Green; and his brother-in-law Russel Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Green Dawson of Moss Bluff; his children, Mike Dawson (Julie) of Lafayette, Bryant (Melissa) of Mammoth Lake, CA, Bethyn Broxson (Anthony) of Moss Bluff and Nanette Pascale (Shawn) of Moss Bluff; his sister Glenda Robinson of Iota; and his grandchildren, Sydney Dawson, Oaklyn Hazel Broxson and Deacon Bodhi Broxson. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
