He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Dugas of Moss Bluff; his children, Charlotte Sonnier of Moss Bluff, Justin (Jessica) of Oakdale, LA, Nick (Natalie) of Toluca Lake, CA and Daniel (Kayla Fields) of Toluca Lake, CA; his grandchildren, Casey Sonnier, Cody Sonnier, Calyn Ballard, Allison Ballard, Place Ballard, Jada Peters and Logan Ballard; his great grandchild Kynliegh Ballard; and his siblings, Glenda B. Stewart of Oakdale, LA, Gerald Ballard (Jackie) of Oakdale, LA, Tommy Ballard (Nelda) of Oakdale, LA and Olin Ballard of Lake Charles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
